Yes, of course, it can be washed at 40 degrees. In most cases, this will be enough to remove any dirt or stains. Nowadays, most detergents are as effective at 40 degrees as at 60 degrees. 60 degrees is the maximum recommended temperature for washing our pee pad.
For medium and large sizes, there are 2 pee pads in the package. For size XL, there is only 1.
